22.1 Introduction

PK_EDGE_imprint_point adds a vertex to an edge at specified coordinates, providing that a vertex does not already exist at that position. The added vertex splits all edges, except for a ring edge, into two.

PK_FACE_imprint_point adds a vertex to a face on a sheet, solid or general body. The new vertex is an isolated vertex, and a new loop is created to contain it.

PK_REGION_imprint_point adds a vertex to a region of a general body. The new vertex is an acorn vertex in the region, and a corresponding acorn shell is created to contain it.
