This function returns information about the parameterisation of the
given surface.


Specific Errors:
    PK_ERROR_mesh_has_no_mfacets    the mesh has no mfacets. (MILD)

`param[0]' describes the parameterisation in the U direction and `param[1]'
describes the parameterisation in the V direction.
