This function sets whether continuity checking is to be enabled.


Continuity checks are performed on B-curves to check whether the continuity
is sufficient to allow the curve to be attached to a single edge.
Continuity checks are performed on B-surfaces and meshes to check whether
the continuity is sufficient to allow the surface to be attached to a single
face.
