This datatype indicates whether to merge imprinted edges
during the instancing operation. It can take two values:

    PK_instance_merge_no_c           Do not merge imprinted edges
    PK_instance_merge_new_c          Merge all mergeable imprinted edges
                                     created by the boolean operation
