This datatype selects how 'max_n_ribs' limits the number of ribs to be
returned.  It has three values:

    PK_blend_group_rib_no_c        don't group ribs
    PK_blend_group_rib_by_face_c   group ribs by blend face
    PK_blend_group_rib_by_parms_c  group ribs by parameter intervals on spine
