SPAkern Global Function bs3_surface_invert

SPApar_pos bs3_surface_invert(	SPAposition const&	`pos`,
	bs3_surface	`bs`,
	SPApar_pos const&	`uv`	`= (SPApar_pos )NULL_REF` )

Gets the parameter of a point on a 3D B-spline surface.

Role: If initial parameter values are given, they may be assumed to be close to the desired point compared with any other point of (local) minimum distance, so there is no requirement to check that the value obtained is indeed the nearest point.

Errors: Returns an empty SPApar_pos if the input surface is NULL.

Effect: Read-only

Parameters:

pos: given point.
bs: given surface.
uv: uv guess.
